Tyson BowmanPresident/CEO
After graduating from the Conservatory of Recordings Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, AZ, Tyson Bowman arrived in Nashville. He quickly jumped into a music industry internship with industry veteran and President of Nashville based music group Embassy Music, Darwin Moody. Tyson learned many ropes and facets of the music business through his internship along side of Darwin Moody.
In 2008, Tyson started his own music company called Guitar Shark Booking. He started booking a member of the platinum selling Christian trio FFH, Michael Boggs. Tyson also started working with a contemporary, rocking, and jazzy, blues singer named Cissy Crutcher. Guitar Shark Booking's efforts were mainly focused on getting other artists gigs!
In 2009, after enrolling himself back into college, Tyson started a singer songwriter night called the Grand New Opry. This non-typical Nashville writer's night not only had great music, but it also came with a special guest. Typically, the special guest was someone that had achieved success in the music industry. The guest would typically share his or her insider success story.
In 2009, at the Grand New Opry, Guitar Shark Booking announced that it was becoming a record label and that Tyson Bowman was the 1st artist to be signed. This was the beginning of Guitar Shark Music.
Since 2009, Tyson has operated the label as President/CEO, and he has also continued his career as a singer-songwriter. In late 2010, Tyson recorded his debut album with Guitar Shark Music entitled, "Thank God For People." Right after his album was finished, Tyson opened up for platinum selling recording artist, Craig Morgan.
Currently, Tyson is working on his next album due out fall 2011 tentatively titled, "Surround Me." Also, Tyson is producing other acts. "I just love this industry and everyone in it, and I feel blessed to have made it this far doing something I love for a living," reflects Tyson.
